Review : Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement

Who doesn’t have hair woes?
Our hair is always either too dry or too oily. We have to deal with tangled hair and split ends, dullness or hair that’s weighed down by product.
And all of us Indian girls are taught to use hair oil. Keep it on overnight and wash the next morning.
But in today’s day and age, who has time for all that?
And the next morning, what if the oil doesn’t wash off properly?
And PLEASE! Whatever our grandmothers and mothers may claim, oiled hair with sweaty scalps and foreheads are NOT SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE!
Fret not, girls! Pantene brings a solution to end the hassles of oiling – the New Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement.
I was recently sent Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement for review, and I loved the product!
It claims :
  • Long oiling hours will now be history!
  • The New Pantene Oil Replacement has Pro-V and goodness of oils; giving you 2X stronger hair hassle-free
The instructions of use are simple-
1. Rub a walnut sized amount of Pantene Pro-V Oil Replacement on your palms.
2. Start from the top and distribute evenly throughout the length of hair. The product does not need to be rinsed off!
3. Style as you please.
They recommend using before combing, before sun, heat or saltwater exposure.
I used the Oil Replacement product on a Monday morning, before leaving for work. And I swear, it was so smooth and hassle-free that it even helped my usual Monday blues.
  • My hair felt nourished!
  • It was smooth, silky and glossiness was apparent.
  • The Oil Replacement product didn’t weigh my hair down (like a bheegi billi).
  • It was quick! The whole process took around 2 minutes. (2 MINUTES! On a Monday morning! I’ll just let that sink in for a minute)

Please excuse my Kendall Jenner moment. I couldn’t resist. ūüėõ

Innisfree addict?

Hey All!

Anybody else obsessed with Innisfree? I am obsessed OBSESSED!!

The Innisfree Green Tea range is truly exquisite.

I haven’t come across very many skin creams that make my skin feel so fresh and hydrated. Usually, as soon as I apply any product on my face, it starts to feel sticky and heavy. I couldn’t even Dream of applying a cream coupled with a Serum! The Innisfree Green Tea range changed that, and I’m so glad to have discovered it.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum: A penny sized amount is sufficient for the entire face. Apply it to your face and allow it to absorb for 5-7 minutes.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Cream:  This has to be the lightest cream out there. The skin absorbs it without any stickiness, and it feels fantastic! My skin feels soft and hydrated.

I love the Green Tea range and the Green Tea Seed Cream is one that has changed my skincare routine completely.

You can get the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum  here  and the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Cream  here

Hair Care Essentials

For my first post, I’d love to share my haircare essentials.

Living in a city, the weather and pollution take a toll on my lovely tresses (Delhi girls know what I’m talking about!). So these are some of the weapons in my armory that I use to fight the dryness and dullness, so I can retain my hair’s silkiness and shine.

1. L’Occitane Repairing Shampoo: I bought this purely on whim, and boy, am I glad I did! It’s lightand doesn’t weigh the hair down, effective, and a little goes a long, long way. Bonus: It smells amazing! You can order it from¬†Here

2. Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day Conditioner: Personally I hate products which weigh my hair down. This conditioner detangles my hair without making it feel slick and oily. it also gives a boost in shine. Bonus: the signature Soap & Glory smell, which is my weakness! You can order it from Here

3. Livon Smooth & Silky Potion:¬† This product needs no introduction to the Indian girl. they used to have a TV ad with it’s annoying catchy jingle¬†where a girl with long, wet, tangled hair would rub a teeny tiny bit of the Livon serum and her hair would be smooth, silky and¬†SHINY!¬†Well, it does serve its purpose, if you don’t believe in using Conditioner. You can order it¬†Here

4.¬†Batiste Dry Shampoo (Blush variant): Can I please just say – THIS IS A LIFE SAVER! When your hair are just a liiiittle greasy, spray this on, and you’re good for another 3 days! It sprays a sort of powder, which you massage into your scalp, and it brings back the bounce and shine in your hair! You can find it¬†Here

5. TGR Shower Cap:   Bought this adorable little piece from Copenhagen, Denmark. It was way too cute to pass up! Some cute options are Here and Here

What are your hair care essentials? Would love to hear!
